No Metal? No Problem. Learn why You Need Invisalign

No Metal? No Problem. Learn why You Need InvisalignHaving misaligned teeth can be a disturbing issue and you may want to have them fixed. Braces are used to align crooked teeth but what if you are allergic to metal? Let us look at an alternative way you can have your teeth fixed.

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a treatment that is done by an Orthodontist to people with misaligned teeth in order to straighten them without installing the ancient metal braces. This method uses clear plastic also known as aligners that are generated using a computer.

Why You Need Invisalign

They are clear and invisible. You do not have to worry about your smile and how you look. Aligners are not noticeable and therefore are suitable for a discreet style.

Aligners are convenient. As opposed to braces, these are removable. You can take them out to avoid damage when eating hard or sticky foods. People with braces cannot take such foods due to irritation and damage.

It is easier to brush and floss. Since they are removable, you can take them out while brushing your teeth and floss normally then put them back. This is easier than having to struggle brushing in between braces which takes long and may not get well cleaned.

There are fewer consultations. Most of the consultation is done before treatment. The orthodontist gives you instructions on how to change the sets so you don't need to have a consultation visit for adjustments. For braces you will have to visit the clinic for every adjustment.

Aligners are comfortable. The wires and brackets from braces may sometimes hurt your gums and bruise your inner mouth lining. However, mouth and gum damage is very minimal with aligners.

Aligners are unique because they are custom made for you. For orthodontist consultation, schedule your appointment in our clinic.
